* Is wearing a helmet compulsory?
Yes, wearing a helmet is compulsory and we supply helmets free to all our guests.

* Can children join in with the e-Bike Tours?
Cycling with the family is the ideal way to see the city, because it is quick and convenient. It’s actually one of the most enjoyable activities for children during a visit to Rome.

* For what ages is Cycling in Rome suitable?
Children from one year old can join in; the very smallest can ride on a child seat (free) in front of or behind a parent.
(Please let us know in advance if you need any of the following equipment so that we can make sure it is available.)

Children on child seats (free)
For children from one to four years old we have child seats for in front or behind a parent.
Front seat up to 15 kg (33 lb)
Rear seat up to 22 kg (49 lbs)

Trailer

Children between five and eight years old can ride in a trailer behind a parent’s bike.

Children’s bikes
From nine years old children can ride their own bike under parental supervision.

Private Tours only: Children’s bikes and small mountain bikes are available; these are of course only suitable if the child is a good independent cyclist.

* Are electric bikes also available?

Electric bikes (E-bikes) are included for all the Bike Tours we offer, no additional charges. We only have ladies’ models of electric bikes, to make mounting and dismounting easier.

* Can I bring my own bike on the Bike Tour?
We only ride our Tours, with our own E-bikes.

* What kind of bike are used for the Bike Tours?
We supply excellent quality bikes, with hand brakes and 21 to 27 gears, which are a pleasure to ride!

* How big are the groups for the Bike Tours in Rome?
Our gourds are between 4 minimum and 10/11 participants per guide. 

* Do the Bike Tours take place on Sundays and holidays?
Our Bike Tours take place every day, including Sundays and holidays, with only 2 exceptions such as Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

* What happens if the weather is bad?
In the event of rain at the start of the Bike tour in Rome, clients will be asked whether they prefer to join the tour all the same, reschedule or get a full refund.

* Is reservation and payment necessary or can we simply turn up and join a BikeTour?
Your reservation and payment is required, to finalize your booking.

* What is the cancellation policy?
If you have to cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined in accordance with the policy outlined below. Apart from cancellations due to rain, no exceptions may be made to the policy, even in the event of terrorism, civil unrest or personal emergencies. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a tour early.
Cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of Tour start, it's free of charge. Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, you pay the full amount of the Tour price.

* What are the responsibilities as a client?
Guests are responsible for: choosing a tour that corresponds to their abilities, fitness level and state of health; arriving on time for the start of the tour; arriving at the meeting point with clothing and gear suitable to the time of year; respecting the laws and customs of Italy; following environmental guidelines and regulations while on the tour, in accordance with the tour leader's instructions; respecting the rights and privacy of other tour participants. An individual may be asked to leave a tour if the Tour Leader feels that the person's continued participation may prove detrimental to the individual and/or his/her well-being, as well as the safety, enjoyment and well-being of other guests, including the Tour Leader.
